a scary scary scary dude. Seriously, why would you purposely remind people that Bush used the term axis of evil? Even the conservative commentators were looking at each other like omg did that just happen? Oh yes it did, honey. Two words

Republicans, led by John McCain and Sarah Palin, will fight to preserve the values that have preserved the nation. We will strengthen our economy and keep us from being held hostage by Putin, Chavez and Ahmadinejad. And we will never allow America to retreat in the face of evil extremism!"
umm.. what? After hearing this I wanted to start my own fucking Jihad.

again, really? THIS was when I looked over at the wall to check that I wasnt having some drug flashback from the 90s. Like when you would smoke too much pot and say something then think.. hmm.. did I just say that?

Whats ironic about this part is this COULD have been part of Hillarys or anyone elses speech at the DNC!

He actually made me laugh out loud. He called Obama a "person of color" and claimed he admired what he has accomplished as a person of color. It was one of those moments that made me ashamed of being white for a second. And that story about the teacher who took the desks away until the children gave her the "correct" answer has to how to earn their school desks (for those who missed it.. the correct answer was "you dont have to cuz soldiers earned it for you" and one by one the veterans walked in and lined up the desks, quietly in neat rows" LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. OMG Seriously I almost shot diet coke out of my nose. Is this for fucking real?!? With the health care that war veterans face in this country are you REALLY telling this story? And the tired line about how when McCain was captured and they told him if he reprimanded his country they would set him free, yet, he refused because he would rather go home with honor.. know what? That just makes him a fucking dumbass. I would tell captures what ever they want to hear if that means I can go home to my family and my COUNTRY sooner. Jihad? Yeah sure. Can I go home now? OH and the best line of his speech. "I dint become a Republican because I grew up rich. I became a republican because I didn't want to grow up poor depending on the government". Thank you for the entertainment Huckabee. That was truly truly hilarious.

So aside from me desperately wanting (almost needing) you to get that lisp fixed, what the fuck kind of speech was that? The Reagan Revolution? Are you serious? The "make a decision" "point" you tried to make. Lets talk about John McCain. As John Kerry so eloquently put it the Senator McCain differs greatly from Candidate McCain in just policies alone. McCain even says he would now vote against an immigration bill that HE wrote! Lets talk about the climate bill that he now criticizes that HE wrote, lets talk about about the wartime taxcuts that McCain now supports that he claimed was immoral. And don't you think given Palin's THIN resume, it would be wise to stay off of the inexperience subject? To criticize Obamas service in the community of Chicago- a position that put him in direct contact with the people and the bridge between the people and shady politicians. Sure, he could have gone and made a ton of money as a private practice lawyer, and hell, Rudy I INTERVIEWED at your firm in Midtown! But instead, he worked FOR the people IN the communities you know nothing about. Honestly, Rudy, the ONLY thing that the rest of America gives you recognition for was being at the grounds of the WTC attacks. This wasn't a choice for you. You were simply at what you have made the RIGHT place at the RIGHT time. And that comment about Hillary at 3AM, just wow to line that up with a statement accusing the democratic party of asking how Palin plans to be a mother and be vp? I have followed this race religiously and I would love to see PROOF of this statement.
Im tempted to just say ok Dems fire away at the fact Palins 17 year old daughter is knocked up. How much you wanna bet she ends up voting democrat in 5 years? Because the issue isnt that this girl like many other American Girls got pregnant at 17, the issue is her mother is out there claiming that abstinence education is more effective than sex education, and how her very own daughter has proven to her that this is not the case. This is a person who is up for the VP slot in a presidential race. Its like how can I sell acne wash and claim it works if I have zits all over my face?

This entire election is personal. For each and every one of us. Why is it personal Ted? Ill give you a few reasons.
Im 30 now. When I retire, I don't want my social security privatized.
so greedy corporations can do to the social security system what has been done to the healthcare system.
I want to know that if I get cancer, I wont lose everything I Have because the conservs don't want decent public health care
in this country. I dont want to have to make the choice between proper medical care and feeding my family. No one should have to make that decision.
I want to not see young men and women (some of whom are friends of mine) in this country fighting a war for OIL then coming home to little or no healthcare or mental healthcare help from our government.
Seeing as the man who has brought me up like a father is Muslim, I don't want my daughter growing up with an administration that has proven to have an extreme intolerances for other cultures. Who would dare to promote the idea that all Muslims are terrorists. Despite the fact that America is supposed to be a melting pot of cultures.
There is a large chance that Palin can end up being our president, and I don't care what party you are supporting, this woman is by FAR not qualified to be the leader of the free world.
I want to know that if a natural disaster strikes that my country will take action and not hire unqualified people in office to handle this based on good ole boy friendships instead of qualifications (btw despite what GWB said, Brownie did NOT do a great job in New Orleans).
I would appreciate a VP candidate that is professional enough and educated and informed enough to discuss world policies rather than giving shout outs to each one her family members in the audience.
I would like that the choices I make and that my daughter make about our UTERUS are left to us.
Not to some religion that we aren't even an active part of. I want to know that women who are the victems of rape and incest are given choices.
I would like that this country recognize gay unions and understand the difference between church and state.
I would like for my country to stop trying to rewrite the constitution.
I would like for my daughter to be able to be educated in a public school that is fixed rather than hoping she is lucky enough to get a voucher for one that isnt deteriorating. Good schools shouldnt be rule not the exception, not just for wealthy americans, but ALL Americans.
I would like to know that when our soldiers return from war, they are given proper healthcare and mental healthcare.

-- The government run Social Security system has been losing money from it's inception. It's a ponzi scheme. When it first started, there were 15 workers for 1 retired person, now it is down to less than 2 to 1. Privitazation(as demostarated with the success of the 401(k) retirement accounts) will save Social Security while keeping it the way it is will eventualy lead to it's end.

--- My mother had cancer and thanks to the health care system of this great country, she has survived it. Although not a perfect system, the health care in this country thru private corporations have made it the greatest in the world. All statistics show the the survival rate of cancer patients in countries such as Great Britain, Canada and Cuba with government run health care are FAR lower than what we have here....in fact many people in those countries come to the United States of America to be treated rather wait in line for the bureaucrats to save them. It's about Doctors and Patients running the industry NOT government.
